Abstract
Barney Medintz was born in London, England in 1910. At the age of 1 year he immigrated with his family to America. Following graduation from the University of Chicago he moved to Atlanta to serve as director of mens’ and boys’ activities at the Jewish Educational Alliance. Rabbi Joseph I. Cohen was the spiritual leader of Congregation Or-VeShalom for more than thirty years.
