Biographical / Historical
The FunDraisers was a charitable corporation founded to raise money for needy organizations in the Metropolitan Atlanta area. In the summer of 1988 a group of creative, hard-working, and energetic women decided to put their energy towards raising money each year for a different charity and doing good deeds in the community. They found that many organizations in Atlanta were eager to enlist their freelance volunteer group to benefit their cause. In 1989, their efforts on behalf of the Alliance Theatre raised $18,000 without corporate backing. From 1989 until 2010, the FunDraisers helped countless charities around Atlanta.
