Biographical / Historical
Originally known as the Atlanta Reclaimers Association, the Georgia Association of Recycling Industry was organized to promote a better feeling of commercial relations between the members of the organization and for the purpose of better handling of problems of interest to its members. Any person engaged in the business of handling metals, scrap iron, structural steel or similar articles, who shall conduct himself and his business in an upright, respectable manner was entitled to membership.
