Biographical / Historical
Joseph Goldberg was born in Russia in 1888. He immigrated to the US in 1908 and settled in Atlanta, Ga. In 1914, he became a naturalized citizen of the United States. Joseph Goldberg married Sarah Levitt in approximately 1909. He was a member of the Jewish Progressive Club and of Ahavath Achim Congregation. He died at the age of 50 in 1938.
