Irwin B. Giffen JEA Papers

 Collection
Identifier: Mss 396

Scope and Contents

This small collection contains materials collected by Irwin B. Giffen in his capacity as the Executive Director of the Jewish Educational Alliance (JEA) in Savannah, Georgia. Many of these materials are from before he became Executive Director, and one is even from before he was born, so it is unclear how he came into possession of those items. Of particular interest to researchers may be The Scroll, a pamphlet published by the JEA in 1916, originally belonging to Morris Rabhan (1895-1983), as well as some of the Annual Meeting programs.
