Abstract
Bobby Johnson was the financial secretary for the Atlanta Jewish Welfare Federation of 29 years. Her papers consist primarily of records from the Atlanta Jewish Welfare Fund, the Atlanta Jewish Community Council consisting of issues of the newsletter, "Together," 1954-1955, and records from the Standard Club.

Biographical / Historical
Bobby Johnson was a member of Jonesboro United Methodist Church, chaired the finance committee, taught Sunday School, was a certified lay speaker, held special memberships in the Wesleyan Service Guild and United Methodist Women, Lydia Action Group and the Friendship Sunday School Class. She was amember of the Atlanta Jewish Welfare Federation of 29 years as a fund raiser for charities and financial secretary. During those years she worked with displaced people from Hitler's concentration camps. She had said that many had lost their whole families and that "it took a lot of praying and tears to get through some of the days." She died on December 24, 1993.
