This collection contains the history of Rich's Department Store and later Federated Department Store from 1966 to 1997. Dixie Minatra collected magazines, newspaper articles, work documents, yearly annual reports, and other items while she worked for the company. It shows a good timeline of Rich's and eventually Federated Deparment Stores.

Dixie Nell Minatra lived in the city of Birmingham, Alabama. Dixie Mintra worked for Federated Department Stores as an employee in Birmingham which would later become Rich’s Department Stores. Dixie Minatra worked for between the 1960s to the late 1990s until she retired.
